Mari truly tailored the entire experience for us, making it three times better than we could have imagined. She was fully focused on giving us an amazing day. She even prepared her sheep farm with "Wanted" posters for my brother’s One Piece–themed birthday, baked a delicious cloudberry cake, took special care of our celiac guest, grilled sausages for us inside the kota, and made sure I tried excellent cheese (since we had talked about me being a cheese lover).

We did a 5 km husky ride, driving the sleds ourselves, which added so much to the experience for the four of us. The activity took place at a beautiful husky farm where the dogs are very well treated and never overcrowded. They showed us the entire place without any rush and even let us spend time playing with the huskies that wanted to be petted.

She also quite literally saved the day by waiting for us when we lost the car keys before leaving in the morning. She did everything in her power to make sure we still had a wonderful day. I know ILOventures is not a big company, but I trusted Mari as one of her first clients, and it more than paid off.

I 110% encourage you to do the same: go a little outside of Rovaniemi, explore different roads, enjoy less crowded places, and increase your chances of seeing reindeer along the way (we actually did, just before arriving).
