ILOventures was founded by Mari Paju - a local guide, travel planner and sheep farmer from Posio, as well as a mother of five princesses. Her everyday life revolves around nature, animals, and the changing seasons of Lapland.

Mari personally guides small groups, families, and couples on hiking, snowshoeing, and a variety of other outdoor adventures.

ILOventures was born from the idea that Lapland doesn’t have to mean mass tourism, Disney-style Christmas spectacles, or overpriced, one-size-fits-all package holidays. We want you to see the real Lapland magic behind the busy resorts and experience locals’ everyday life through responsible activities, often arranged in their homes.
