1. Company Role
ILOventures provides travel planning services as well as organizes and operates selected tours, activities, and travel experiences. Depending on the service, we may act either as an independent service provider or as an intermediary between the customer and third party suppliers.
When we operate a service ourselves, we are responsible for its delivery. When services are provided by third party suppliers, those suppliers are solely responsible for their services.
2. Services
Our services may include travel planning, itinerary design, booking assistance, and the organization and operation of guided tours, activities, or experiences. The exact scope of services is defined in the booking confirmation or agreed proposal.
3. Quote Requests and Bookings
The person making the reservation must be at least 18 years old.
Quote requests do not constitute a booking. All submissions are treated solely as non-binding requests for a quotation.
ILOventures will provide a tailored proposal based on the customer’s selections and request.
Price quotations are valid for 3 days, unless otherwise stated in writing. Due to supplier availability constraints, ILOventures does not guarantee accommodation or services beyond the stated validity period.
A reservation is considered confirmed only once the customer has explicitly accepted the proposal and the agreed payment has been received.
4. Payments
Following acceptance of the proposal, an invoice will be issued by ILOventures and must be paid by bank transfer within the stated due date. Once payment has been received, the booking becomes binding and the customer accepts these Terms and Conditions.
For business partners or cooperative agreements, reservations may be confirmed via email and invoiced according to separately agreed terms. In such cases, the booking becomes binding as defined in the cooperation agreement.
Planning services and travel arrangements are invoiced by ILOventures unless otherwise agreed. All payments are made via invoice and must be completed by bank transfer within the indicated payment terms. Failure to complete payment by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking.
Prices are stated in EUR unless otherwise specified and may include applicable taxes where required by law.
5. Third Party Services
Some parts of the travel experience may be provided by independent third party suppliers, such as accommodation providers, transport companies, or activity operators.
By booking such services, the customer agrees to the terms and conditions of those suppliers. ILOventures is not responsible for changes, delays, cancellations, or service failures caused by third parties. We will assist where reasonably possible but do not accept liability for third party performance.
6. Changes and Cancellations
Cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellation fees may apply depending on timing and will be specified at the time of booking.
The cancellation date is the date on which the Merchant receives the notice of cancellation. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the cancellation is submitted in sufficient time.
If the customer cancels their reservation,
- If there are 28 days or more before the start of the booking, the reservation may be cancelled free of charge.
- If there are less than 28 days but at least 14 days before the start of the booking, 50% of the service price will be charged.
- If there are less than 14 days before the start of the booking, the full price will be charged.
7. Changes by ILOventures
We reserve the right to modify itineraries, routes, schedules, or content of services when necessary due to safety, weather conditions, operational requirements, or other circumstances beyond our control.
If a significant change or cancellation is required for a service operated by us, customers will be informed as soon as possible and offered an alternative or refund where appropriate.
8. Customer Responsibilities
The customer is responsible for ensuring that they meet all travel requirements, including valid identification, visas, insurance, and health requirements.
Customers must follow all instructions given during tours and activities. Participation is at the customer’s own risk, and customers must ensure they are physically and mentally fit for the selected activities.
9. Insurance
We recommend that all customers obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellations, medical expenses, personal injury, and other unexpected events.
ILOventures maintains liability insurance for services operated directly by us, but this does not replace the need for personal insurance.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ILOventures shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages, losses caused by events beyond our control, or actions of third party suppliers.
For services operated by ILOventures, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service.
11. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to weather conditions, natural disasters, strikes, or government actions.
12. Use of Images and Content
Photos, videos, and digital content may be captured during tours or activities. By participating, customers agree that such content may be used for marketing purposes unless they request otherwise in writing before the service.
13. Intellectual Property
All itineraries, travel plans, and materials provided by ILOventures remain the intellectual property of the company and are intended for personal use only.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall primarily be resolved through negotiation. If no agreement is reached, such disputes shall be settled by the competent courts of Finland.
