2-Day Husky Adventure in Riisitunturi National Park

This overnight two-day husky safari is for those, who want to challenge themselves in the middle of the Lappish wilderness surrounded by a pack of loyal sled dogs. We start the adventure from the home of happy huskies. During the first day we drive through Riisitunturi National Park and have a tasty lunch by the fire. Riisitunturi area is famous of snow-loaded trees and you might be thinking that you are in the middle of a post card.
We will spend the night in a remote, wood-heated wilderness cabin. Water comes from the lake and electricity for lights and recharging phone from a solar panel. During the evening you can participate in caring of the dogs before it is time to have sauna and dinner.
On the second day we continue following the snowy and silent trails of Riisitunturi National Park. Lunch will be served by the open fire before arriving back home in the afternoon. Two person share one sled, but it is possible to have your own team of huskies for each client for extra price. Driving distance approximately 65 km.
All husky experiences are small-scale and responsible – the dogs’ wellbeing is always the top priority.
